Jazzercise doesn’t advertise as much as its competitors and it doesn’t have to. I learned about it from my neighbor, tried one class and became hooked. We are fortunate to have excellent instructors! Although it’s a group activity, they approach their instruction as though they are our personal trainers. They motivate us and inspire us. I feel healthier and in better shape than I was in my 20’s and 30’s. Another plus is the comraderie among the students. That hour of Jazzercise is a very special time in my day. I definitely leave feeling better than when I arrived! |

Glendale Jazzercise is Awesome. Not only do I get an intense and fun workout, but I have met so many people and developed so many friendships along the way. It’s an energizing way to end your day and relieve some tension. I always feel great after I’m done. I’ve been Jazzercising for the past 3 years at Glendale Jazzercise and have noticed great changes in my physique. The music is upbeat and current, the routines are fun. If you are thinking about trying it, you should, you’ll never turn back. Thanks Liz, Julia and Lisa for everything! |

“I work in front of my computer all day, and I can hardly wait to head out the door at 5:30 p.m. for Jazzercise. It makes me limber, lets me work off the frustrations of the day, and it does wonders for my neck, shoulders and back which really need a workout by the time my business day is done. You and Julia make the classes so much fun. So you’ll be seeing me for a long time to come at Glendale Jazzercise.” |

When I started Jazzercising a year ago, I was also doing step aerobics on alternating days and was jogging on the weekends. Like all the workouts I’ve been involved with, I didn’t think too much about jazzercising. The instructor used to talk about people being addicted to Jazzercising. I NEVER thought I would ever be addicted to Jazzercising. It was a hot…very hot July day. Milwaukee reached a record high of 99 degrees with no wind for relief. I march into the gym that had no air conditioner and began jumping around dancing and sweating like I just got out of the shower with my clothes on. It wasn’t until the frozen wash cloths hit my face that I realized I’m addicted and that the other 8 attendees were addicts as well. That was the day that I accepted to be a Jazzercise lifer. I gave up the jogging and my membership to the gym. I am now a 100% dedicated Jazzerciser…and love every minute of it. Thanks for getting me hooked on Jazzercise. |

I started Jazzercising over 20 years ago with DeeDee Cutright at Grace Lutheran Church in Thiensville. What keeps me coming back? I love music, I like to dance, and I like to view Jazzercising as DANCING rather than boring exercise. In order to stick with any routine, you need it to be something you like. Okay, so if I view it as dancing instead of exercising, am I really getting anything out of it? I guess the best testimonial I have is my doctor. At a recent checkup, my doctor asked me if I "worked out." I admit I sort of chuckled and said, "yes, I Jazzercise three times a week. Why?" The doctor replied, "Well, it shows. I especially can tell you are more flexible . . . . " Although he didn't say it, I know he meant more flexible than other women my age. So besides being FUN, Jazzercise really does a body good! |
